Who Am I?
I'm Ayan Mandal, a developer from India with a strong interest in programming, computers, and how systems work under the hood. I started my journey with Python and web technologies, and I currently enjoy building small tools, automating tasks, and experimenting with new ideas. Alongside my engineering studies, I’m also working on a personal game project, combining logic, creativity, and continuous learning

In the long run, I aim to deepen my understanding of computers and explore machine programming, continuously expanding my knowledge and capabilities.
Outside of Code
When I’m not coding, I enjoy sharing knowledge with others, designing UI layouts for fun, learning pixel art, and exploring problem-solving strategies in computer science. I’m also a big fan of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece, its story of perseverance, friendship, and adventure inspires me both in life and in my work. Coffee ☕ and lo-fi beats 🎶 are my constant companions during work sessions.
How I Built This Portfolio
This portfolio is created by Jekyll, a static site generator that I discovered while contributing to a GitHub issue for Arm-Developer-Labs.
During that contribution, I came across a developer named jc2409, whose own portfolio inspired me to start building mine. Exploring his work motivated me to experiment with Jekyll, customize layouts, and shape this site into a personal space where I can share my journey, skills, and projects.
This portfolio is not just a showcase — it’s a reflection of my growth as a developer, built step by step through curiosity, contribution, and community inspiration.
